Oh geez! I'm so loving the show this year. Ronnie Spector (and Estelle) and Patti Smith (and Lenny Kaye) moved me to tears! Their performances were superlative......ah!

I missed it. I wanted to hear some of the songs, I'll have to find them on youtube.

Rock-n-Roll Nigger absolutely kicked ass....and she was such a sweet tiny feminine thing when speaking about how her mommy loved that song....ah!!!

I woke up with Ronnie Spector's voice crooning "like walking in the rain"....Ooooh!
I 've seen both women perform, so it really was special. I wanted Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five and REM to be better than they were...but they were good!
I really didn't listen to Van Halen, not my faves, and Eddie Van Halen wasn't there....still.....loved it!

The women were so great........
