hey all,
i just saw the anime movie "ninja scroll" and kinda liked it. i was wondering if any anime fans out there could recommend other anime movies to check out.

Try to track down some Fist of the North Star. It's got all the violence and gore of Ninja Scroll with a similar artistic style. Akira and Ghost in the Shell are Sci-Fi classics.

Don't watch Ninja Scroll 2, it's the biggest waste of time ever.

I think there are a few other threads on this topic but I agree with Shokan's list. Spirited Away and Street Fighter Alpha are a couple more I'd add to that list along with Neon Genesis Evangelion though that is a series and not a film.

Wicked City, by far the best ever
Fist of the North Star, the movie (the series is a little sloppy imo)
Ghost in the Shell
Demon City Shinjuku
MD Geist
Macross movies (considered by some classics, not really my style, but make your own decision )
