Anyone else see this? It only got 22million in the first 5 days, but that put it at #2 that week. It was pretty good. The stars had no problem doing a personality swap and were quite believable. It was pretty funny at times (especially JLC acting childish) and it is worth seeing, if not in theatres then as a rental.

I'm not a big Jamie Lee Curtis fan, but I must admit she was pretty good in this flick. It's interesting how often the original with Jodie Foster is brought up, but not the Disney Channel remake from a few years back.

Wasn't this movie already done in the mid 80's with Fred Savage and Judge Reinhold and it was called "Vice Versa"?

Not only that, but it was done twice also, in 1976 and 1995(TV) as "Freaky Friday". :)

And it seems as though the Vice Versa you were talking about was also made before then, in 1948.

No more original ideas out there...

I was very pleasantly suprised by this movie. I was like all the other teenage girls in the theater, sitting right next to my mother. It was a lovely movie, and I might even purchase it when it hits the shelves.

I watched the movie (not in the theatres though. ;) ) only cuz of Lindsay Lohan.

She reminds me of a mix between melissa joan hart and winona rider. Maybe a little of tara reid.

It wasn't a bad movie at all.

There was a version with Fred Savage! man i have got to find that!

I thought the original was with Hayley Mills in it????

Hayley Mills was in the original <i>Parent Trap</i>, not <i>Freaky Friday</i>, although both films were eventually remade with Lindsay Lohan as the star.

I did get to see this one for free, at the second screening because the first one was full, and by the way the theater looked for the one I saw, it was full too. It wasn't bad at all, and all of the younger crowd really seemed to enjoy it. I liked the soundtrack, myself, especially Joey Ramone's "What A Wonderful World". Good stuff.

I know this movie has been done over and over again, but I'm still going to have to make time to go see it.

Okay looked it up, she was born July 2, 1986.

Okay, now it's all cleared up.

Beat me to it! I was just about to mention that. Personally, I don't know how you can beat Kirk Cameron and Dudley Moore, but I guess we'll see.

No way I'm paying to see this in theatres though.

I made a pact with myself years ago, I would NOT watch another movie that featured either two people switching bodies or guys dressing up like chicks. These themes, not really funny to begin with, have been done over and over and over again.

How can you watch someone grow up from the age of 1 and then lust for them. They are the poster girl daughters to almost everyone in America. Sick and borderline pedophilia.

I was thinking the same thing the minute I heard about this movie...that movie and the Judge Reinhold/Fred Savage one previously mentioned.

Further proof that Hollywood has almost no creative, new ideas anymore.
