ABC is expected to announce Monday that it has completed a deal to renew "NYPD Blue" for a 12th and final season.

ABC is said to be planning a big sendoff for the show, recognizing it's ratings and it's trendsetting nature.

Where does it rank for you among the cop shows???


Although Blue and Hill Street Blues, I look at the first 5 seasons of Homicide as the best cop show on TV.

I liked Hill Street Blues and like NYPD Blue. I'd have to say, in it's day, Hill Street was the best.

On a less serious note, how could you not include Silk Stalkings and Cop Rock in the voting? Jeesh. :)

This sucks. The epp tonight looks really good though. I bet it will turn into a friends like deal where they go like 2 more years after they say this.

Never could get into it the main cop guy was too bad of an actor for me.
