but what about the super-duper special edition trilogy boxed set with posable figurines, seventeen hours of deleted scenes, twelve days of behind-the-scenes footage, a genuine lock of hobbitfoot hair, and a special documentary, complete with computer-aided time-lasped pictures of peter jackson's beard growing more and more haggard?

I've been seriously thinking about getting this and the Extended Edition, too.

I haven't seen it yet.
I know it's the theatrical release, but won't the ED have that, as well?
Or, is ED edited to include extra footage and not include the original?
