Cinderella Man

Go see it. No, do not watch Spider-Man 2 on DVD again. Do not whine about everythin that was wrong about the latest 3 Star Wars films. Do no plan your bi-monthly watching of the LOTR trilogy.

Go out, and watch a good, non-sci-fi, non-comic book, non-Liv Tyler as an Elf fantasy film. There is movie life beyond the boundaries of these narrow genres, and Cinderella Man is a good place to start.

the preview bored me to death. are you telling me theres more in this predictable movie than what i saw in the preview? plus i hate RC and RZ.

Star Wars, Rocky and Spider-Man are all predictable movies too. Most movies are. It's the journey that makes it fun.

Before I go on about how I really liked this movie, I just wanted to say that I didn't think Rocky was predictable at all. If it was predictable he would have beat Apollo Creed. Second of all, the fact that this is a true story based on the life of a man...google James J. Braddock and you will be able to predict the end.

The movie is inspiring and entertaining. Its a drama and its a good movie. If you don't feel like going to the theaters to see it thats fine, but if you can rent it or watch it when its on tv. It is worth a look.

I liked it. It was done well, even if I have a thing against the actor...

That being said, the story has always interested me more than this movie did. What's more, it's not the movie of a lifetime they're advertising it to be, even if it was good. (Then again, they advertise every movie that way...)

The first trailer for this movie made it look great.

The second trailer sucked ass.

On a side note, between Million $ Baby, The Contender, and the first trailer of this film, my wife is now a boxing fan.

That is sweet.

I saw the movie last night and loved it! It made me truly thankful for everything that I have. For me it will always be a very memorable movie (I got very emotional throughout and never forget those ones!)

Hmm I will watch it providing Russell Crowe gets hit a lot, as he is one of those actors who really annoy me

I just saw this movie tonight. I was quite impressed actually. I didnt think it was going to be that good but I loved how even though this movie was based on boxing, it really went the extra mile to emphasize just how bad the great depression was, and how it affected so many. The scene showing "Hooverville" (I dont think this is a spoiler since its based on actual historical events) was really sad. I never heard of that happening. Overall I really liked this movie.
