Thank you Honesty, for posting the magpie. I used to live in Alberta and magpie's where everywhere (there are none in Nova Scotia), but I could never get a good picture of one. They're so beautiful in flight, with the blue in their wing feathers. I forgot how much I admire them.

I came across this one recently as I was at Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump in Alberta, Canada ...i.e., playing "where in the world am I?"

Crows do not get along with birds of prey, such as hawks, owls, and eagles. They will gather together to mob these birds if they can. Mobbing includes dive bombing, chasing, and harassing. |

Owls are so majestic in flight. I wish there were more around here to deplete the squirrel population a bit. I should see if I can get one to roost over my garage.
