The 30 Second Mystery 69 - Why?
There are four categories: Who, What, Where and Why. Some will be easy, some not. I have as many as six clues to help you along, which I'll supply as needed.
Please limit yourself to one guess, and another guess for each clue I supply. No questions asking for help or hints are allowed. Partially correct answers won't be acknowledged. This is not a debate. The correct answer is the one in my head. Wild guesses and comments are fine. In fact, they can add to the mystery and are fun to read. Be precise when guessing. Be patient and have fun. The Case: Ted and Kim are both investing heavily in real estate, and making a fortune. Even though Ted never breaks the law, he is sent to jail. Kim uses the same investment strategy as Ted, yet stays free. The Mystery: Why did Ted get sent to jail, and what is the maximum sentence? |
They're playing Monopoly.
A player gets out of Jail by... (1.) throwing doubles on any of his next three turns. (2.) using the "Get Out of Jail Free" card if he has it; (3.) purchasing the "Get Out of Jail Free" card from another player and playing it; (4.) paying a fine of $50 before he rolls the dice on either of his next two turns |
They're playing Monopoly. He got sent to jail because he landed on the "Go to Jail" space or picked up a "Go to Jail" card or rolled 3 doubles in a row.
The maximum sentence is 3 turns. |
5 for sipsake.
