My roommate pre-ordered the game and got a demo disk as part of the deal. The game looks pretty much like Rogue Leader, with some awkward "on foot" stuff thrown in. Still, it'll have a 2-player co-op version of Rogue Leader, which we're looking forward to, and maybe some cool missions along the way. The demo has only part of one mission (Hoth, of course. I used to dream about taking part in that battle when I was a kid; that scene was the coolest thing ever. Now I'm sick of playing it over and over again. Damn you, LucasArts!) and it seems to jump all over the place, but I'm sure they wanted to showcase the various aspects of the game. It also has the Atari Star Wars game, which is a lot harder than we remembered. I'm reasonably excited to play the game, but certainly not salivating.

Can't forget about the various vs. modes as well as the co-op.

I got the disc at Best Buy for $5. Didn't need to pre-order...I may pick it up someday later though.

This is quite an impressive looking game, the screenshots I've seen of Endor look fantastic, alas I shall never be able to play it properly for I have no GameCube :(

Should pick one up someday soon...

They're going down to $99.

And there will be a bonus disc with them soon that has Zelda, Zelda 2, Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask on it.

Yeah I can get them real cheap at work but GameCube's are quite the laughing stock, we haven't sold one in about 6 months.

Plus there aren't enough games on it atm nor coming soon that I REALLY want to get my hands on.

Nice little system though.

If you REALLY wanted it I could send it over to you from New Zealand but it'd probably cost you more for me to ship it to you than it would to buy a new Cube so this post is pretty much useless and a waste of precious TFP space.
