Worth getting or no?

I've heard it's a good game...long, but good. It's actually a little different from the standard bullet time shoot em up, with the dog, and apparently a better story - but don't take my word, I heard this from a friend in rehab. Apparently there's a really cool part when you're in prison, and since you're an ex- cop, everyone wants to kill you. So you have to go around working the gangs and playing poker games, lifting weights, etc. To gain respect and bust out.

For $20, I'd say it's worth it, but then again I've never actually played it so...

i loved it. i never actually bought the game cuz i'm always broke, but i rented it. and for those 2 days it was in my possession i didn't put the controller down. it has a decent story. good action. cool mini-games. and is fairly challenging. is it down to $20 now? if so, i'm buying it.

also...i heard there's a sequel coming out.
