Platformer Fans Rejoice
 

It looks like Jak III and Ratchet and Clank 3 are getting excellent scores, just like their predecessors.

Boy am I excited!

Apparently, from a couple of sources, Ratchet and Clank 3 is the best platformer <b>ever made</b>. Jak III is damn good, better than Jak II even, but Ratchet and Clank 3 rises above every platformer ever made to take the throne.


I'm honestly surprised that they are making these games better and better. Looks like two more games to add to the "moneypit in videogames 2004" list :thumbsup:

I just read a review of both, and Ratchet and Clank 3 got a perfect score. I liked the previous versions of both, but neither has the replay value to really make me want to purchase. I might rent them though.

Nothing can touch Super Mario Brothers 3.

huge levels better graphics i've always been of naughty dog since the first crash bandicoot what happened to those series anyways .?.

Sweet, I really like these franchises. I'm glad there is still life in platformers.

I haven't tried either of these franchises, but based on the reviews of the latest releases, I'm tempted to go and hit them up as a good used purchases over a weekend.
