sims 2 install problem
 

So i'm trying to install te sims2 and everytime i get to the second disk i get a disk transfer error. I tried copying all of the disks onto my hard drive and installing from there by clicking on the autorun application in folder for the first disk. unfortunatly after finishes the install on disk one it prompts to insert disk 2 which obviously is not what i want to do.

I really want to play this game so any ideas you have would be much appriciated.

Hmmm, might want to check the website for the game, went there, 15 seconds of looking found troubleshooting install errors, and guess what was at the top of the list?

yeah this is the exact same advice as appears on ea's tech support sight and it doesn't fix the problem. i suspect the disk might be bad but any other thoughts would be much appriciated
