The way that anyone who's first language is not English is treated with such contempt on this board really is quite unattractive in my opinion.

I've seen several examples of this.

Strange, I dunno if you understand but the OP is a troll, a spammer, y'know, the folk that want to sell you viagra. They don't even sell it to you, just take your credit card info.

To assist my understanding, could you show me the part of his post you interpret as asking for your credit card?

He wasn't being literal. He meant that this "guy" is not a Real Poster. He's a spammer. He's made posts on this board before that have been proven as spam.

He's not really a spammer under the strict sense. What he is, if we're going to specific, is a schizophrenic troll. He set up multiple accounts across multiple boards and held conversations with himself. When we confronted him about what he was doing, he lied about it - both that he was doing it and then about why when we told him that we knew better and could prove it.

I can think of a number of posters who's first language is something rather than English that have been welcomed with open arms in the very recent past. Language wasn't an issue; being a liar running a game on us is the issue.

We have a very strict rule about people having multiple accounts. We don't like it because it is - at it's core - absolutely dishonest. If I catch someone doing that and they don't have a good explanation (and there are some that I've been understanding about and found a way to work around the issue), banning is on the table.

banning people who break the rules of the site is perfectly reasonable, I dont object to that. What I object are posts making fun of the way the guy writes because his English isnt great.
