How much do Mini Coopers cost?

Price por favor?

Cynthetiq 11-26-2003 09:16 AM

MINI COOPER MSRP $16,999.00
MINI COOPER S MSRP $19,999.00

if you go to the www.miniusa.com website and use the configurator you'll get a more accurate decription after options.

after all the options for the model I want to order will put it in the US$23,000 range...

Whats the differnce between the "S" and the normal model?

Cynthetiq 11-26-2003 10:32 AM

S

has a front hood scoop and supercharger giving it more HP. It's also a little wider and longer, and only comes with a GetRag 6 speed tranny

a small, light car like that HAS to be driven stick. Anyone who buys an auto should be shot.

Its not that hard to learn, and once you do, you'll love it.

$1,300 for a CVT automatic which is can go either full automatic or have a "manual" mode. It's pretty sweet, test drove one of those the other week. I was quite impressed with it, as are most MINI CVT owners. It even has steering paddles in some countries (US not include at the moment)

The S model only comes in a 6 speed tranny. I'd love to have a manual, but living in NYC it's not too practical since one is ALWAYS in traffic not to mention street light to street light.
