Do you want to still be driving boxy cars in 2014?
boxy cars will return again at some point in time as will the curves.... look at the whole history of car designs the pendulum swings back and forth...

Here's something to chew on: Back in the day, automobile design was all about building cars that looked futuristic. Ironically, futuristic became the modern trend, but that story doesn't end there. The very fact that we are taking what we consider to be 'retro' styling and modernizing it lends weight to the 'futuristic' designs of yesteryear.

This all fits together quite well.

The futuristic designs of the 50's and 60's are now today's modern designs. It's almost a no-brainer.
