I'm going to see Saves the Day tonight
 

I can't wait. Taking Back Sunday and Moneen will also be there. any of you guys like these groups?

Saw Saves the Day open up for Blink 182/Green Day once. Not too bad but nothing that really made them stand out in my mind.

my roommate saw the saves the day/taking back sunday show last week, he won't shut up about it. said it was one of his favorite concerts.

Seen Saves the Day twice: two years ago on the Vagrant Tour (with No Motiv, Hey Mercedes [whom I just saw two nights ago (rock!)], and Dashboard Confessional [back when he was just solo]) and they were absolutely awesome; last year after they released Stay What You Are (they toned down their "punk" and were way more mellow) and they were totally awesome. However, I strongly dislike their new CD, and passed up seeing them earlier this month.

Taking Back Sunday was a great band, too, and though I've only heard snippets of their new lineup, they still sound pretty good. Enjoy the show! Or, since you're probably reading this after seeing the show: Hope you enjoyed the show!

i like their older album, i think the one before the new one they just released but i'm not sure of the new album yet...hasn't grown on me but i sure am jealous! have a great one...tell us what it was like too! :)

I saw this tour when it came through Milwaukee and it was sweet, I went for Taking Back Sunday and didn't really like their new stuff, but the show overall was good.

The concert was sweet, Saves the Day was great.

We almost got screwed though. One of my friends brought a back pack (god knows why), so my other friend who drove decided to put the car keys in his back pack. Then the kid w/ the back pack decided to crowd serf and when he was done all the zippers were opened and everything was gone. Luckily a security guy found the keys.

i saw them with thursday. back when i was in my saves the day phase. so it was really cool and i knew all their songs. mostly played stuff from stay what you are. i don't care much for their new songs.

Great line-up. I was never a big Saves The Day fan, and I've lost some interest in Taking Back Sunday, but Moneen is an excellent band, and though I have never had the chance to see them live, I've seen some bootlegs and they put loads of energy into their show.

How was it?

I saw all three of those bands a couple of months ago in St. Louis. 'Twas a good show! Saves the Day played really well.
