The cost of your sex toys?
 

I was reading an article in the paper about sex toys when I noticed that it said there was one store that carried a jade dildo for $330 (US). At the time, I thought "fuck that!" (no pun intended). But it got me thinking, among the members who have sex toys, how much do yours usually cost?

While I probably wouldn't buy any for myself (my hand is nice and FREE), I wouldn't have any problem buying them for some of my friends.

Another thing i'd like to ask is, do you find that price matters? ie: Is that jade dildo really that fantastic? :lol:

It wouldn't be so much how much I spend at one time, as opposed to how much I have spent over the years in total and now occupies my toy box.

Oh, I have plenty of sex toys. They started off cheap ($10 vibes), but have steadily gone up in price since then... but not usually over $50 in general. Occasionally ktspktsp and I will splurge (my favorite so far has been the under-the-bed restraints :crazy: ), but that's not the norm.

Lurkette: ktspktsp got me the Laya (the 2nd toy on your list) last year, and I love it! It is definitely my favorite vibe, especially when paired with a substantial dildo (or ktspktsp, of course :D ... or both dildo + ktspktsp ;) ). We also have something like the Feeldoe (the last item on your list), called the Nexus... it's very nice and fun to play with. I hope you get some of the stuff on your list! :D

I have a few sex toys, and all but one have been under $50. The only one that has cost more than $50 is the Fleshlight, and it was definitely worth it. As I work on expanding my collection, I'll probably purchase some more expensive ones, because quality products usually do cost more money. I don't think I would spend $330 on a jade dildo though.

My hand is the only sex toy I got, and it's not being replaced anytime soon.

If you include bondage equipment and furniture, we own quite a few devices that cost over $100. Heck, we picked out our bed frame in part to accommodate sex play, so you might say that's a very expensive sex toy.

Personally, I've never spent more than...$20 on a sex toy for myself. However, other people have bought me more expensive toys. Honestly...I prefer my Wahl Coil vibe, and I paid $10 for that at a Longs Drugstore.

TotalMILF and I just visited Fascinations the other day and picked her up a $100 Pyrex toy. She seems to think it was worth it!

I get mine as professional samples from work, so I guess "FREE" is my standard price.

OK, the amounts seriously don't go up high enough. My wife and I have spent well over $1000 on different sex toys. I have a handmade leather flogger worth over $350 itself.

And to be honest, having never bought any sex toys myself, I didn't know what appropriate ranges would be. But still, there aren't very many $100+ people.

Depends where I am shopping. If you buy from the specialty on-line sites, you can pay a lot more than if you shop local. For example, I picked up a nice riding crop from the local Petco that can match anything you can find on-line, and at a fraction of the cost.

I just bought a fleshlight and lube for about $100 CDN. Woohoo! The first sex toy for me!

i'm in the under 50 bucks range. my fiance and i have some, but don't use them to much. mostly a couple of butt plugs (his and hers ;) ;)), a rabbit, vibe and a silicone cockring.

i am considering getting something a bit more extravegant for a wedding present. would that be tacky?
