Whats the deal with that Axe stuff?

A friend of mine told me that the axe deoderant releases some sort of chemical in the scent that has been proven to attract the ladies.

So he decided to put some on before a concert he went to. A few girls told him he smelled nice, and then some really cute girl grabbed him and started to dance with him. All of a sudden this girl turns around and just starts making out with another cute girl.

Later that night the same girl sees my friend again and just grabs him around the stomach and starts to dance again. Have any of you tried this stuff? Does it really work?

insidious_machinae 12-05-2003 11:22 AM

I'm not quite sure that would be a legal substance. In any case, it's probably just really strong pheromones. Or the girl was horny and your friend got lucky.

Do a little research on it, see what's in it.

Redlemon 12-05-2003 11:22 AM

My usual antiperspirant was discontinued. I saw an Axe display at the CVS, sniffed each of the possibilities, and went with the Tsunami, which is an ocean/citrus scent.

I'm not getting any more than usual from my wife, however.

(edit: I hadn't heard anything about Axe prior to purchase.)

Jedbeck 12-05-2003 11:34 AM

Had to be coincidence. However that would be the most awesome product ever.

But could it become a curse as well. Think about wearing it to the wrong functions. Never ever wear it to a family reunion. LOL

turbodriven 12-05-2003 11:37 AM

Go rent the movie "Love Potion #9". Funny movie depicting a magic potion that instantly attracted the ladies. I remember one scene with the guy running down the street and about 5000 women running after him. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

LOL

Jedbeck 12-05-2003 11:44 AM

turbo now that you say that, I have also seen that movie.

It did become a curse to that guy. Geez, movies trying to teach a lesson. ;)

Pragma 12-05-2003 11:51 AM

Let's see - he went to a concert. I'd say that, not the deodorant, is the explanation for the events.

But if it was the deodorant - I'd have to get some of that before it gets outlawed. :D

The_wall 12-05-2003 12:01 PM

pheromones are what it releases. I just remembered my friend tried it because he heard a friend of his tried it and that kid was getting the ladies as well. I don't think this is coincidence.

Tom Thumb 12-05-2003 12:17 PM

I'd bet it's increased confidence from thinking the deodorant makes them more attractive.

twotimesadingo 12-05-2003 12:43 PM

before i actually tried the stuff, i agreed with all the naysayers who note that it's problem circumstancial events, or phermones...

honestly, what it is (and i don't pretend to know), it works. in the past month or so since i've started wearing the stuff, i've been told i smell good on a daily basis. it's good stuff.

triad 12-05-2003 12:51 PM

yea, i use it too, and i also get told i smell nice, but i don't think it has any effect beyond that, i do know that there have been studies that show women are turned on by cirtain odors, same with guys... Something like lavender and vanilla and pumkin? I'm not sure

gophtc 12-05-2003 12:59 PM

i just stopped wearing the stuff, and come to think of it, ive been told i look different, but that has to be something unrelated.
i think too many ppl are wearing it now, they wouldnt sell so much of the stuff at such a low price if it was that good.
then again maybe they will raise the price of it shortly, and i should stock up on it
ugh, im so confused, im trying the old spice spray (all the axe stuff is a spray right?), im still looking however i feel the old spice is stronger, but a nicer smell to me at least

gophtc 12-05-2003 01:07 PM

on the science channel, i heard jasmine has the highest properties over vanilla and such for being pleasing to women (strongest, yet most subtle)
well were on the subject, can we talk about what kind of conditioner you use as well? leave-in or not, something thats moisturizing. im trying to grow it out, but with the amount of hair now, gel isnt it enough to keep it from frizzing/puffing out especially in the cold, windy weather

REDL|NE 12-05-2003 01:25 PM

i wore it once, but i dont think it smells very good. Maybe its because im not a woman :)

m0ntyblack 12-05-2003 02:51 PM

Okay, I'm not sure what it is about this stuff, but it DOES drive women wild. I got it one time when I had an event to go to (it was the cheapest thing on the shelf due to a special, and I had left my usual deoderant at home), I had a hotel room with two ladies (friends, but nothing more). They noticed the bottle laying on my dresser and asked what it smelled like, so I sprayed a little. One of them gave me a look I NEVER thought I'd see from her, and said "mmmmm... its..... nice." And then looked away blushing. I've also noticed I get a LOT more hugs when I wear it. I don't wear it often, but when I do, its noticable results.

Also note that it doesn't work for crap as a true deoderant....if your armpits smell, axe won't do shit about it.

MB

gnort 12-05-2003 03:25 PM

Ive been wearing it for a while and have got many of the ladies saying, "you smell good!" but nothing more...maybe i should put more on.

Axe just came out with a stick deoderant and i picked some up because it came free in a gift pack thing that was surprisingly cheap. The stick deoderant is pretty good...works better as an antiperspirant than the spray. Worth a try.

Heath 12-05-2003 04:00 PM

just smells good. If that was true, it probably wouldn't be sold in normal stores.

rogue49 12-05-2003 06:01 PM

Most quality perfumes & colognes trigger phermones.
This was just a rumor put out by their marketing department.

I get a LOT more compliments on my "Obsession"
the AXE just stank in comparison.

Let's put it this way, women go out of their way to smell me,
and some even like mackin' on my neck because of it. ;)

The results are fairly consistent & always good.

Zorvox 12-05-2003 06:14 PM

Where the hell do I get this?

IM in australia and never heard of it..

SOMEONE SEND ME SOME !!!!

present_future 12-05-2003 06:17 PM

I wear the stuff all the time. My scent of choice is phoenix, and I've had quite a few people comment on how good it smells. My ex-girlfriend really liked it.

31Friction 12-05-2003 06:45 PM

hmmm.. I dont wear it, I wear Polo Blue or the new Hugo and I get told I smell good quite often as well. Although the axe stuff is quite cheap and if it really does smell that wonderful I would find it to be worth checking out...

analog 12-05-2003 10:29 PM

I wear it whenever I go out. I use the scent "Kilo" (i'm in the states, it also goes by "Africa" in Europe), and have always received high praise for it. On a few occasions, I will get the blush and look-away after they get a sniff. I don't know why, but it fuckin works. Just spray some on the neck and chest- use it as a cologne, not as a deoderant, because it has no antiperspirant and will only mask smell.

VitaminH 12-05-2003 11:02 PM

Yes it smells good. No it does nothing chemically to the girls to make them more attracted to you, unless they like pretty smells.

AfterBurn 12-05-2003 11:18 PM

i bought Axe Tsunami a few days ago, any opinions of it?

amonkie 12-05-2003 11:21 PM

We got a box of promotionals to give out the the guy residents living on our campus- they went pretty quickly after the girls started commenting on them. Meself, I think they are a real turn on.

AfterBurn 12-05-2003 11:52 PM

i just did some research on this axe stuff and i found out that most of it is love/hate for girls, some axe will make girls love you and some will want to stay away from you...Tsunami is most prefferred but some girls just totally HATE it! Most girls think Orion is good but a few think its too soapy (whatever that means)

bermuDa 12-06-2003 12:47 AM

I've got axe but I don't use it so much, it's more like cologne than deodorant, and in those rare occasions when I start sweating, it doesn't do the job.

I've got Armani Mania deodorant and cologne, and not only does the deodorant work extremely well, I really like the way it and the cologne smells. And I've gotten at least one compliment that totally made my day :)

Cherry 12-06-2003 01:09 PM

It doesn't really do anything for me, honestly. I prefer something nice and subtle on a guy, generally something classic like Grey Flannel or 4711.

VF19 12-06-2003 04:48 PM

Yea it's pretty much worthless as a antiperspirant but it does smell pretty nice. And it wears off come nightfall (if you apply in 5:30 AM :p) so if you work then go out you'll have to reapply it.

I'll have to get some tsunami, I have kilo now.
Anyone try voodoo?

la petite moi 12-06-2003 05:58 PM

I'm a girl and I think it smells good.

Voodoo smells good. Yay.

RelaX 12-06-2003 06:19 PM

Wear it every day, deo and collogne. Have been for at least a year. Still single... no girls... no noticable change... then again that may just be me...
The commercials are cool though.

Sleepyjack 12-06-2003 06:25 PM

side topic/hijack

I always find it a little weird that someone can get complemented ona smell, that anyone else can put on? sure it can smell nice, but all you are doing is putting on an artifical substance which isn't really part or related to you at all?
i guess the same could be said about anything artifical that we have, and isn't really "part" of us though?
especially, cause back in the primitve days, i imagine the guys didn't all have nice cars, hair gel, deodorant, in order to seduce the girls and attact them? :p

that said, yes i do often spray myself in order to smell "good" though, although naturally releasing pheremones as you go about your day, would seem the natural way about things?

sorry for the topic change......

MSD 12-06-2003 09:12 PM

All it does is get rancid as it combines with sweat. Well, that and choke anyone within a ten foot radius of where you're standing when you put it on. Pheromones are destroyed by alcohol, so I don't see how it could be helping that much.

charliex 12-06-2003 09:18 PM

its been out in the UK for about 15 or so years, but called Lynx instead, i used to wear but i find it too strong , so i switched to an unperfumed deodarant with some allure, i get a lot of people asking what it is and where to get it.

Its funny to see the commercials in the states haven't changed any in all that time.

http://www.visit4info.com/static/adv...page=com_l.cfm

Panther_Ninja 12-06-2003 09:47 PM

I wear it and get some comments on that I smell good......It gives me a little bit more atteniton.....helps start a conversation....good stuff i like the kilo kind.....i figured that the ladies love that the best!

Giltwist 12-07-2003 12:22 PM

Body chemistry has a lot to do with it too. It can work great for one guy and terrible for another. An example from my life. I use Old Spice Red Zone deoderant, no pheromones no nothing, just smells nice. Being in theatre, I hav to go to fittings now and then, and I am sure the lady has seen and smelled it all. So I go to a fitting and she says something along the lines of "You smell really good, what are you wearing?" And I reply honestly, then she says, "No, I know what that smells like, and you smell better than that." So, I guess I had a stroke of luck when it comes to old spice. On a side note, my girlfriend says I smell like something different every day. Some of the recent ones were water chesnusts and rosemary.

QuasiMojo 12-08-2003 10:33 PM

have to admit...smell is a thing with me. I have to like the scent first and foremost. after all I'm the one who has to wear it. I remember one time I overheard a girl(who I was interested in) say that she reeeeally liked "Eternity." So I went and shelled out $45 for a bottle of this stuff...this is when I was making like $150.00 a week!!! It worked.
I like the marketing for this Axe stuff....it's light, not too serious...
kind of like the product. Of the two types that I tried, Phoenix and I believe Tsunami, they both smelled great but didn't last long at all because of the spray application.

NOW if you want a real nice masculine scent try some essential oils of Sandlewood. Shit...that stuff makes my OWN nipples hard.
don't ask me where to get it though, I haven't seen it in quite a while. a nice patchouli with a real woody kind of lilt to it is sure to get you noticed to0.

shileno 12-09-2003 09:39 AM

i use axe and none of this stuff happen

Giltwist 12-09-2003 10:17 AM

Essential oils are great, I have a friend who runs an essential oil business. So when I can afford it I always smell really good.

Aha, I saw somebody mention "Voodoo" and I thought it could be the same thing as Lynx, thanks for confirming. I use Lynx Voodoo, haven't had any complaints or compliments but I only spray it on lightly.

emphant 12-09-2003 12:37 PM

Okay, I admit I thought this axe stuff was bullshit.

I work at Rite Aid, and as I was stocking deodarant, I saw it, so I thought what the hell and put some on.

In the next hour, I had no less than 6 people come up and tell me I smelled nice. So maybe it does do something.

Pragma 12-09-2003 12:59 PM

I'd wager that the "something it does" is "smell nice". People tend to find things they think smell nice a bit more attractive than things that smell bad - thus it does help a little in that respect.

bigoldalphamale 12-09-2003 01:20 PM

its good stuff and i use it. i like the way it smells, i dont care what anyone else thinks. its not a deodorant...so you need to use your right guard under the pits still. and spray this stuff on the neck chest and above the dill. they need to come out with an aftershave.

The.Lunatic 12-10-2003 10:09 AM

Axe is an excellent product.

It does in fact contain pheremones, but that doesn't mean shit. It does make a girl slightly more sextual stimulated, but it turns out less so than just a good smell. So whoopie. However Axe is very cheap like 5 dollars or something and smells as good and has the same phermones as any designer colone. Therefor i recommend getting some as ladys love a man who smells good.

jukaman 12-10-2003 11:34 AM

wow, can we buy this at any store that sells deoderant?

12-10-2003 12:13 PM

i honestly think that there must be a lot of women who have absolutely horrible taste in scent. I've tried nearly every axe variety, and most of it makes you just smell like you're wearing $4 cologne.

They do however, make a good stick deodorant now.

space-n-'cord 12-10-2003 12:50 PM

OMG, I'm so sick of hearing about this stuff. Well, not this stuff, but every time I go the movies they have an add for that crappy "Bodman fragrance spray from Body Fantasies" crap in the previews. It's disgusting.

frozenstellar 12-10-2003 05:00 PM

its only lynx? here i am thinking its some sort of wacked deoderant that goes nuts. its nothing special.

jay-g 12-11-2003 12:31 PM

You mean theres more to it than funny commercials......

impulse03 12-12-2003 09:16 PM

id say axe is all a hoax. yes ive had women come up to me and tell me that i smell nice, but man, after you start sweating some, that stuff smells like some real nasty chinese food.

hobo 12-12-2003 09:42 PM

I considered trying it once but now I don't think I will. You guys mention that it goes rancid when you sweat. I sweat quite a lot. I'd rather not be rancid.

try it, just treat it as a cologne and not as deoterant. i buy arrid which is anti persperant and deoterant in 1 and its uncented then i spray axe and i stay clean and smell good

good idea. i'll also keep a lookout for axe antipersperant.

Dixie 12-13-2003 09:29 PM

Yes.

Ryan 12-15-2003 06:18 PM

I currently use some Arm and Hammer brand anti-perperent/deorderant, and the either Axe kilo or Axe Tsunami.

With the arm adn hammer and the axe, i smell so fresh so clean all day long and the ladies love it.. (I wish haha)

imperfect_anya 12-18-2003 12:30 AM

I dunno, but I really do like the scent of that Axe body spray although it doesn't work on every guy that wears it.

thebiz 12-19-2003 11:34 PM

I don't get Axe. It smells like butane. Hell, it IS mostly butane. How does this turn people on?

SVT01Cobra 12-20-2003 07:29 PM

lol, this reminds me of a time when I was shopping at the mall, and when I got out of my car some douche stopped me and tried to sell me some cologne with pheromones. From a marketing stand point, this soliciting bastard had a good idea. He went on to call it a "liquid panty dropper". Approaching teens selling cologne for cheap prices that's guaranteed to get them laid, who wouldnt buy it??

Anyways, I called his bullshit, and told him my cologne smelled better than that stuff, and I get plenty of action without it. Now to most people it actually does work. Not because of any pheromones or anything like that, but because people believe that when they wear that stuff it attracts women. Thus making them more confident, and getting them more women, and of course, they are going to come back when they run out.

The marketing strategy of AXE is the same, I can recall several of their commercials. It may smell nice, but that's it. If you get more action than normal, it's because you believe it's doing something.

ForgottenKnight 12-23-2003 06:49 PM

I've been using this stuff for a while. I wear any form of old spice antipersperant (gell or stick) for the deotorant, and then treat axe as a cologne. It hasn't done anything for me in the form that the commercials lead one to believe. I just like the smell.

jaker 12-26-2003 02:22 PM

i'm with you on this one
if perfume companies actually harnessed the power of pheromones it would be scientific news and it wouldn't just be a rumor and some ads. they work subliminally and they yeild incredible power, which is why there is such an ethical debate around their use.
if people were to harness the power of pheromones they could use them in warfare (certain pheromones can make animals very aggressive) as well as for sex. and the sex brings up an ethical issue because it would be like drugging someone to sleep with them really. anyways, that's what my crazy teacher taught us in our senses class. sorry for the rant. i just thought it was funny that this crazy powerful thing was thought to be used in a $3 can of deoderant spray.

HockeyGuy 12-26-2003 06:32 PM

when i was back in canada i discovered 'axe' is the same sorta thing as 'lynx' is here in the uk... fyi...

i've found to get a lot of 'u smell good' compliments. no complaints fro a cheap deo., cologne still works better though!

Octo 12-27-2003 01:47 AM

i usually wear this after i smoke weed

a strong scent

clevaccount1 12-27-2003 12:21 PM

I dunno about attracting the ladies, but it gets rid of the weed smell real nice.

Outlander36 12-27-2003 08:11 PM

Women like a guy that smells good. IMO, Axe smells pretty damn good so I wouldn't doubt that was all there was to it.

lions20 01-01-2004 01:23 PM

I don't see how a deodrant can make women want to make out with you. If you take some fat slob and bathe him in the stuff chicks will not jump all over him unless he flashes a lot of cash.

ChrisJericho 01-02-2004 02:15 AM

Alright I read some of the positive reviews about the Axe spray and decided to buy some since it's only $5 a can. I really liked the smell of the Kilo, so I got that. I dunno what effect it will have on the girls... but it's making me want to eat my wrist !!!!!

So uh yeah... I'll give the results once class starts again.

grouchie 01-04-2004 06:15 PM

eh, i've had chicks tell me I smell good because of my Deoderant which is Degree

to each their own

orange monkeyee 01-04-2004 08:42 PM

Penn and Teller have done extensive research into pheramones and they are complete bullshit. Axe deodorant body spray is just that, deodorizing body spray that smells good. So if a girl likes someone that smells good, then voila, a tv commercial is born.

oh, P&T 's BUllshit series comes back on air soon. heres their link. hoping it works...

http://www.sho.com/site/ptbs/home.do?_requestid=90087

Showtime - Penn & Teller: Bullshit!

StaindGirl 01-07-2004 11:31 AM

I personally dont like AXE that much.. sure it smells good.. but some people go overboard with it.. its not like the commercials.. girls arent going to go up to you and start undressing you and feeling you up.. and they wont start humping you or anything. Im a girl.. and yeah.. I dont know.. "the Axe affect", doesnt really affect me at all. Sure the guys smell good.. but so does other mens sprays... and colgnes...but meh.. thats just what i think!

Stiltzkin 01-07-2004 11:47 AM

I have a friend who has been wearing this stuff for a super long time, and he has never had any luck with the ladies. It is utter nonsense. It is just an advertising gimmick, and anything else is just coincidence. Get over it

That's not entirely true. A cologne/aftershave can smell different on different people. Especially as it starts to wear down a little bit (immediately after applying, yes, it does smell identical). For example, Joop! (cologne for men) smells good on me (according to my wife), but smells like Bounce (static fighting dryer sheet) on another friend of ours.

On topic: My brother visited for the holidays, and wore Axe... don't know which flavour it was, but I wasn't crazy about the scent.

Parkhurst 01-16-2004 12:33 PM

I don't know if they have a different ingredient list for the stuff in the states. But, as said before Axe is marketed as Lynx over here in the UK and generally considered to be on the lower end of the market for b/o basher.

They still have some good adverts though, the last been the '24hr Lynx affect.' This was recently shown in the press with a picture of that guy who married Britney Spears.

Great advert, lousy product.

onodrim 01-16-2004 02:13 PM

I don't know what it is about Axe, but I love the way it smells! It a strange way it does make a guy wearing it more attractive. I have no idea why though. :)

soreyes 01-17-2004 08:25 PM

I got some axe and my fiancee thinks I am out trolling anytime I put it on! So it just sits in my drawer now.

Paq 01-17-2004 11:48 PM

i just use degree underarm antiperspirant and axe as a body cologne stuff, just spray on chest, neck, wrists and you're good to go. It covers the smell of my work shirt when i'm working and people tell me i smell nice. I also happen to love the way it smells, and i'm not allergic to it like i am to 99% of scented items...

heh

Oh, and as far as pantydropping cologne...2 things. 1. Aqua di Gio...seriously, this one girl i work with will just claw you and pounce on you if you wear it. she loves it. 2. Polo Blue. more conservative smell, but most ladies i've talked to have loved it.

Oh, and axe is available at walmart for under $4...

Quite a glowing recommendation.

If anyone needs me, I'll be out getting some Axe.

lisa 01-18-2004 12:26 PM

This whole thread is starting to sound as if it was a commercial it self by the whole Axe/Lynx-company!!!

You're not gonna get lucky with the ladies, just by wearing Axe! So please, stop believing that! These guys have just done a great job promoting and advertising for their product, showing in all kinds of commercials (link) that you'll get all the sexiest women you want, just by using their deodorant. Obviously -reading this whole thread- they've succeeded!

If you do get lucky, while wearing Axe: It's just a mind-thing. If you believe this product will "get you some", you'll act in a totally different way towards women, much more self-confident and therefore much more attractive. I'll bet if you would just change the labels on a deodorant-bottle, making the guy believe he used Axe, but in fact he used a different one, he'll get lucky anyway!

everybodylovesr 09-02-2005 04:17 AM

Has anyone used Intesa's Guarana deodorant?. it's supposed to be ..hm.. seductive.. I've had good results with it too. Now I've bought the shower gel with guarana too.
I'm trying Axe (I bought touch, but I think I will try the other varieties too) tonight..

skinnymofo 09-02-2005 05:32 AM

theres nothing in axe or those other axe style spray/stick deoderants to make girls jump at you. they just smell good and if your close to them youll get a "you smell good" and get closer. No one wants to be next to a stinky person.

Redlemon 09-02-2005 05:38 AM

Holy threadbump, Batman!

Each one seems to have a rather nice smell, although I don't ever remember being told I smell nice because of it. I'll have to do some extra research.

Trisk 09-02-2005 01:55 PM

The "more girls are attracted to me when I wear axe" effect is probably just because....it's nice when someone smells good. It makes you want to be closer to them and stay closer to them. If someone's at a concert and wants to grab a guy to dance with, why not grab the one that smells nice?
Personally though, I really don't like the smell of axe. Maybe it's just certain scents they make or whatever...but I always detect this underlying smell to it that just...repulses me. I probably wouldn't even notice it, but for a year, this guy who worked with me wore WAYY too much of it every day. I think he must have gone through a bottle of that stuff a week...if not sooner.
Perhaps that just made me more sensitive to the subtleties of axe...but...meh.
It's not enough to make me run away from a guy who's wearing it. A hot guy is a hot guy, whether he smells slightly of B.O. or slightly of a scent I would rather not smell. But...I probably wouldn't be all that comfterble cuddling with a guy wearing axe. The smell just...doesn't sit right with me.

Then again, different girls will be attracted to different smells and different scents will mix with the oils on people's skins in different ways. If it seems to work for you, by all means, keep using it. I, however, prefer a guy wearing a real cologne....or at least someone who manages to wash their clothes somewhat often. I love the smell of a nice, fresh shirt on a guy :)

this is from my experience...I know nothing of Axe..BUT there is a pheremone cologne out there called realm...and by all thats holy it affects me in such a way that isnt decent. First time I was around a guy that was wearing it, I didnt know what it was (it hadnt been out long...this was in 1998/99, somewhere around there....I'd gone to alabama to do some genealogy work with this guy I'd been talking to online for a long time..within 30 minutes of getting in his car I was so horny I couldnt stand it.

I stayed that way all day....and I mean ALL day, couldnt figure out why either, cause this guy didnt do a thing for me lol. After I got home I emailed him and asked him what he'd been wearing cause I loved the way it smelled SO GOOD. He told me and I immediately went and bought some for my then hubby.

The stuff still works on me too....Dave wears it when he wants to torture me....he puts it on when we are having to go spend time with his parents  cause he knows it gets me SO worked up, but I cant do a damn thing about it

Johnny Pyro 09-02-2005 02:54 PM

I wear axe kilo. Every girl says I smell good! I swear by it. Three years now.

Realm? :hmm: I think I'll go get some!

Grasshopper Green 09-02-2005 03:05 PM

I hate axe. It smells too alcohol-y for me. Then again, I've been accidentally sprayed by it at work numerous times....and had to smell it on myself the rest of the day.

LoganSnake 09-02-2005 08:57 PM

I just got some Armani Aqua Di GIO. Does anyone wear it and what's the responce from the ladies like?

Vincentt 09-02-2005 10:03 PM

So what have we learned?
deoderant > no deoderant.

Grasshopper Green 09-03-2005 06:23 AM

Logan, hubby has that cologne and it is the best smelling mens scent I've ever smelled. Good choice

Any cologne can smell nice on any guy - provided that it's not overdone... you want someone to get close enough to you to smell it -- you don't want your scent to enter a room before you do, or have that pigpen like cloud of scent around you...

I am still partial to just plain old ivory soap or Irish Spring if you are feeling a little fancier... forget the colognes - soap and water is the best.

So you're saying that women avoid me because I make them so horny that they're afraid to be near me? For now I'll stick with my theory that I'm just repulsive to women.

Ambiguity 09-03-2005 10:04 PM

I wore it one day and wham, 4 different girls that day, girls ive never met were like, "wow, you smell great!"....

So who knows......

Kilo's the way to go, blocks out the weed smell pretty well too(as was prieviously mentioned.)

I second this, I like my love smelling like soap, shampoo and a little deodorant.

Also, perfumes don't taste very nice.

I dont know about other peoples experiences with Axe but I bought a can of Tsumani and tried it out at a bar. Within minutes of sitting down I had young attractive women running towards me while ripping off their clothing. It was out of control. The police had to come and rescue me from the whole ordeal.

Oh wait that was just the commercial.

I have a can. It smells fine. Last long and works fine. As long as I dont smell like motor oil or BO when I use it Im happy.

Untrue. I only put it on in the morning, and I go the whole day without smelling musky. If I don't use it one day, I can conjure up smells that would make a sanitation engineer's eyes water.

So, who's hot for Suave now? ;)

Cigarettes too. I smoke alot and every girl says "You smoke so much, but you always smell so good!" Always. Seriously! I couldn't live without it. I would smell like an ashtray. Its amazing. Axe changed my life. Maybe thats an exaggeration, but I always smell good.

Sometimes the body spray is a little too much for me, but I love using the body wash. IT smells really good. My best friend bought me two bottles of it for my birthday, and I always thank her for it :P (Although, I think she gave it to me because she wanted to see how it smelt on me)

everybodylovesr 09-06-2005 10:49 AM

I just bought Axe Africa/Kilo - the body spray and I really like its smell.
I will be using it with a vanilla body wash, I think. Though if I manage to find the kilo body wash, I'd buy that too.
