Roxy Music, Avalon (the album). "More Than This" makes the wife melt.
Zeppelin "The Ocean". 7/8 time is a fun rhythm to work with, particularly with that walkin' bass in the 4/4 bridge. Steve Vai, "For the Love of God". Good going down music. Frank Zappa, "G-Spot Tornado" Ditto. Handel, "Water Music". Good from start to finish, particularly if you have a disc that has "Water Music" then "Fireworks Music". |
try some of my favorites
from the 80's grover washington - winelight from the 90's dead can dance - aon from the 00's filia brazilia - (anything) also - think "if this was videotaped ... what would I want as a soundtrack?" |
Minus the Bear's "This is what i know about being gigantic" might be just what you're looking for. It came out maybe 2000, 2001 on Suicide Squeeze. Really good melodic semi-digital rock.
or, on a less serious note, Kool Keith's "Sex Style" listens start to finish like a hip-hop porno. |
El Dabarge "Rythem of the night" This song is for love
