What sports news sites do you frequent?
 

I like sports a lot. My friends and even parents sometimes think I watch too much sports coverage and fail to understand how I can not get tired of ESPNews.

Despite this, I also go to the Internet for sports news and rumors.

What websites do you go to for sports news and information? Which are your favorites, and which do you keep going back to?

Myself, I find myself visitng the following sports related sites the most:

Yahoo Sports Coverage - I like Yahoo a lot. Sports included, they do a nice job.

Ben Maller - Gossip and Sports Rumors. It's a lot of information in one place, can be quite overwhelming, but does have good information and rumors you may not see elswhere for a day or so.

ESPN - I watch their channel all the time on TV, I view their site online. They have proven they are the real deal when it comes to sports news and statistics.

These sites are pretty "big" in that they are popular and well-known.

I would be interested to hear/see what sites you all frequent for your "sports fix," regardless of whether they are run by a big company, or independently out of a small office or even basement.

I am always on the lookout for new sites and this especially applies to sports.

So if you have a good site(s) that you frequent or find very informative, please take a moment and share it.

I constantly refresh ESPN's game update pages during baseball games when I can't watch them on tv.

http://www.sportsline.com/ has really clean interface.

Have you seen MLB.com's GameDay?

It allows you to "watch" a game over the Internet, in that it loads a webpage, and updates stats, pitch locations, and more. It is all done on a webpage like interface, and it kind of hard to explain.

It is really nice, and if you haven't checked it out, I recommend at least giving it a shot.

When a game is in progress, just go to MLB.com's Scoreboard. You will then see a link above the individual games that reads "GameDay" or something along those lines. It is the far-right link atop the game score.

If there were a game in progress now, I could send you a more direct link, but there isn't so they don't have any links available currently.

CBS Sportsline and Yahoo also have similiar "online coverage" but I like MLB.com's the most.

They are all free, and only required Shockwave or Java to view. If you do check it out, or need more help getting it to work, just let me know. :)

I always check out ESPN's Soccernet for their live scores. But when it comes to following matches and reading the full time reports I always go to the BBC Sports section.

espn and nba.com are the only ones that i go to regularly. i get most of my info from sports center tho.

I just use ESPN and their links...
