User Names
 

When the site came back on I registered as Mr A and I got a email notification and when I tried to verify the account it didn't work so then I made another account as Mr. A and that time I didn't get a notification so then I registered this account and now it is working. Could one of the admins please delete this account and Mr A and send me a notification for the account named Mr. A please? Thanks.

that's a lot to ask right now. we're still working on de-bugging the board, and dealing w/ members who can't get on at all. give it a few weeks, and then the best chance would be to talk to an admin in IRC, but really, is the difference between "_" and ". " enough to make a big deal over?

My user name annie wouldnt work so i had to register a new name... ill keep trying the other one though... is there anything i should be doing to make it work?

What is happening that it isn't working? Are you getting an error message, and what is the message?

annie, i'm not sure if you caught this, but we recently had a server crash that forced everyone to re-register... t's very possible that if you simply register the nickname "annie" it'l work for you. since you're still pretty new, i'd suggest it.

I had the same problem Mr. A, I'm just gonna wait for the name to expire, the mods have bigger fish to fry right now

Yeah, sorry that we can't really get to that kind of stuff right now. What you may not realize since it seems you're new is that the board just recently crashed and we had to start it over and everything. So there are a lot of bigger bugs that the admins are working on to fix right now.
