user-friendly video editing software
 

Does anyone know of a video editing program I can use to edit divx and mpeg movies, and add simple transitions and effects thats more user-friendly than Premiere?

Try Ulead Video Studio, thats not too hard to use and has some nice features.

im pretty sure you can purchase it legally for 100 dollars or so.
it's pretty intuitive, but i thought premeire was too.. so Good luck!
