Utility to rearrange apps on the taskbar for Windows XP?
So, yea, anyone know of such an application?
I just find myself wanting to organize all the windows I got open, usually when I'm doing some programming. Turning on the "group similar taskbar buttons" in the Taskbar properties helps a bit, but sometimes I want two different apps to be next to each other. Any ideas? |
Im too lazy to actuall search for one, but if you hit alt+tab, it opens a window(only while your holding alt) that has all your open tasks on it. hit tab to select which item you want and once you select something and open it, It moves to the left so all the windows/apps your using the most will be on the left and the rest on the right. Try it out, you might find that more useful than an app.

I can't recommend a specific program but what you're looking for is similar to the Mac OS X Dock. Trying searching for a Dock-like app for Windows and you may find what you're looking for.
