Firefox/Real Player Plugin

Greetings Everyone,
I looked at the Firefox Extensions page for a Real Player plugin for my FF browser but I couldn't find one. I may be blind or maybe I am not searching correctly but does anyone know where I can locate such a plugin to play Real Player clips in FF. Thanks

well, if you're using 1.0 a bar should pop up when you come across a page needing the plugin and it should have a button to install the realplayer plugin. At least, that's how mine got installed ;)

You may want to take a look at this page: http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/firefox-windows.html

I am sorry, I am using version 1.0 and I to came across a page which informed me that I needed the plugin. Everytime (3 times) I click on install the needed plugin, it just reinstalls Realplayer but I can't view the video that I am trying the see. If anyone else has any ideas or suggestions, they would be incredibly welcome and appreciated. Thanks

of course, if you're not using Windows, you may want to try this link:

http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/linux.html

If you are using windows, the problem may be solved by completeing uninstalling RealPlayer, especially if you have more than one version. Even if you uninstalled and reinstalled to get to v.10, you may still have stuff hanging around.

Then, once uninstalled, reinstall and FireFox should pick up the plugin.

Peace,

Pierre

Un/Reinstalling Real Player didn't work. I guess I will be forced to cut and paste a link and use the dreaded IE though it will feel like I am cheating on my beloved Firefox. Thanks for the help though
