Cutting a very long story short:

We have an evil ****** of a neighbour and we almost certain he's stabbed our car tyres. We have no proof.

This might normally sound far-fetched but if you have a neighbour who for no reason threatens your life....it gets a bit err.... Well. Suspicious.

So we wanna set up CCTV cameras around our house.
We live right at the end of a cul de sac so we wanna be able to see the side with overgrown unused land as well see the other side of the house next to where the d-bag lives.

But with no experience with cameras and CCTV.... Need a little help.

Which kind of cameras are good/reliable?
What kind of features does the system have?
What's it like monitoring the feed?
And how did u find installation?
    Any advice?

    Thanks in advance!

Thought about wifi cams, easy to setup, live feed to your cell, plus no wires to run other than power for the cams. I got 3 of them watching.

I am using a Ion, a Motorola, and a Wansview. For viewing and monitoring, I am using the software called Ispy.(freeware)
All three got plans a person can sign up for. But I passed on other people other than hackers viewing my house.
