I am guessing that those bands are not my taste in music, but those are incredible pictures especially with the available light. Very sharp details that make you feel like you are there in the crowd.

Mushroomhead I don't mind much, and Tenefly Viper is decent, but the in between acts were mostly growls and roars. Psychostick is a heavy metal comedy band. You'd have to look up some of their videos on youtube to understand.

 

Excellent work, especially considering the horrible-for-photography conditions of the average concert. Composition and timing are spot-on.

Can I assume you're in the range of ISO3200-6400 to get the shutter speeds that freeze everything like that?

 

Thanks, and yes, those are all around ISO4000-5000. Aperture was usually around f7.1 or less, and shutter speeds were all over the place, but I tried to stay close to 1/160 or so.

 

Nice photos. I wonder if it is difficult to sing or yell or make noises in a gas mask and other types of masks presented in these photos.

 

Somehow I think it doesn't make much difference
