Don't mess with moms... especially one with a shotgun

    Saw this story on abc news



    The mom did pretty well all things considered. She got on the phone with the emergency services after arming herself and pulled the trigger when she had to. Who knows what the bad guys had planned with that hunting knife...

    Yeah and I'm pretty sure she is muzzling the camera guy a few times throughout the story, oh well :(

    Well my mind thought wasn't the sound it makes, I guess I was going on experience of handling one. I know I would perfer to use the shotgun, because I know how to use it and I like it. (Winchester 12ga pump) ;) I always had a fear that the pistols would go through the walls if I missed the intruder and hit one of my kids. No matter she got the job done.

    Well, great on her for defending her kids and herself. I myself think she did the world a favor removing a dirt from the gene pool, but I mainly just hope she is dealing with the aftermath ok. That kind of thing can take a serious emotion toll on someone.
