Most, but not all, free agent signings are done. The Texans failed to positively impress me, and most experts, in any serious way. If Caserio is a genius GM, he needs to start showing it. Since the Texans cleared much of the offensive line, then failed to upgrade it, good things were hoped for/expected during the draft.

Quite a few offensive linemen (OLs) were gone before the 25th pick, so maybe Caserio did the right thing trading back. But two OLs were taken after the 25th pick. And the reports I've read on round two of the draft mention very few OL.

The obvious: We won't really know how the draft went until the season is well underway.

I'll say this right now: Caserio's seemingly lackadaisical attitude towards upgrading the OL has me concerned.

    So...
    how is your team
    doing so far in
    FA &
    the draft?

This deserves to be a stand alone comment.

Regarding Shediur Sanders, and of course the ever present Deion Sanders:
    Ha,
    ha
    ,
    ha!

The Texans took a WR before finally drafting an OL.

When making fun of someone, it helps to spell their name correctly.

Shedeur Sanders didn't get drafted in the second round . A QB I've never heard of was drafted in the 2nd round. I wonder who is more butt hurt, Shedeur or Deion? Which one will make the most ridiculous comments? Ha, ha, ha!

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

The Bills drafted a DT, DE, and a corner so far.
Those are definitely the positions of need. Reviews of the players seem positive. I don't follow college football so I will have to wait and see.
Mr. Sanders and his daddy are going to be locker room cancer for whatever team takes him.
I'd rather suffer through a year of Sam Darnold or Daniel Jones than deal with those two.

    "Takes them" is correct.

What coach wants his QB to be shadow coached by Daddy, & have everything he does critiqued by Daddy? I think Shedeur (hopefully) is learning a lesson about buying into Daddy's praise & wearing his sense of entitlement like a favorite shirt.

I heard a report Deion was arguing with someone on social media & told them (paraphrased), "My son is a top five pick in the draft, what's your son ever done?".

Will Deion's ego ever let him realize, perhaps even admit , he helped set Shedeur up for a painful fall? He knows the NFL is a huge step up from college, stats are only part of the selection process, & expressing confidence sometimes needs to be kept under control. Actually, he might have no idea about controlling confidence :p.

Are the Sanders still posting vids of them watching the draft?

The Texans drafted more WRs than they did OLs in the first three rounds. I hope Caserio has spotted some OL sleepers in the later rounds.

I love reading the "draft grades" that came out today.
Not a single one of these players has so much as put on a jersey and the experts are already telling us how well our teams did in the draft.

Definitely 90% speculation, but those opinions are what I have to go by.

How often do you see follow-ups tracking the players taken in rounds 4-7, even 3-7? The few exceptions will have their low draft positions mentioned, with Brady (puke) being the clearest example. I have seen a few experts who will review their draft opinions after numerous games or after the season, but not that many ("Hey, take a look at how completely wrong I was!!").

I still don't get Caserio's strategy re the offensive line. Maybe the Texans will use three offensive linemen & seven receivers . Stroud could set the NFL record for the most completed passes under five yards :D. And the quickest release of any starting NFL QB.

I saw an interview with Bill Belichick on CBS Sunday Morning, he has a book out/coming out.

If his book is as dry as he is, it could be an amazing cure for insomnia.
