Mm, I was reading an article that suggests that the female pleasure center is actually a larger, connected area than previously thought and consists of both the clitoris and the g-spot.

You're doing it wrong. It should either be Fake Name Sex or Sex Because Sex.

That and learn to keep a drop wallet. You know, a decoy one for muggers.

Another protip is to avoid marrying a woman that doesn't do random BJs.

    ...

The clit is pretty amazing. It's like a tiny blasting cap for a woman's brain.

The clitoris is the release valve for the G-spot.

Okay, Strange Famous... care to elaborate? I mean, I've had girls that are all-clit and dead inside and vice versa.

I've also had girls that I can launch after using the Crab Claw of Delight (TM) on their sweet, sweet genitals.

Interesting. But I don't know how, practically, this changes anything I would do. I've always respected the clit, and always will. And when it comes to a woman's pleasure, I respect that too, and just want to be the cause of it.

    To paraphrase Devo:

When a pussy comes along/you must lick it
To make the cream leak out/you must lick it
I say lick it/lick it good.

This is where we avoid assuming that all women are built the same, right?

I mean, I'm the wrong person to ask. I've only had experience with two and a half women (rounded up). Alls I know is that I'm not about to ignore a clitoris while I'm trying to punch in the proper code to activate the G-spot launch sequence.

Oh, I'm not suggesting that women are all the same. Far from it. My limited experience tongue-punching the orgasm bead has reveled as much.

I'm sure their hardware is no different than dude junk. My "contribution" to the thread was that sex scientists now thing that the clit and g-spot are a single thing, much in the way the we've got a glans and shaft.

Yeah, I was confirming what you were saying, more or less.

That's what I've been reading - that the hullabullo around the G-spot was a veiled way to justify the continued dominance of the "orgasm from penetration"/ignoring the clit.

But before this thread gets too dumb, can anyone who has one of these systems installed chime in??

I'm not sure what to say. The clit is a thing of wonder.
Initially, I was misinformed because even the most open-minded of sources described the clit as a tiny thing with a little hood that got engorged with stimulation.
I think maybe, like a lot of medical study, the thought process began with a man's (sexual) response and 'translated' into how a woman responds. When enough people realized that it just wasn't as simple as the male response (sorry, guys) more study revealed what is said here. And yeah, of course women differ in their preferred way of getting off. We are complicated!
We may not have had the labels correct but sexually active women knew there was a whole lot more going on 'down there' than a little bud with a hood getting off or that silly and confusing G-spot needing stimulation. Giving directives by either demonstrating or taking your partner's hand and showing him/her or if he/she's hitting the right spot(s) encouraging him/her seems the logical way to approach this.
If a woman masturbates to any degree she knows what feels good where. Certainly, her partner can help find more ways to pleasure her, tho.

It's good to know that the clitoris is a larger and more capable organ than we once thought. But I tend to think that a lot of the variance in the way women experience orgasm with a partner has just as much to do with how comfortable they are with 'cumming in public' as it does the type and technique of physical stimulation. This is why, perhaps, some women report more intense orgasms when they masturbate...because no one is watching. I do believe there is still a lingering fear of being seen as a whore that runs through the sexual psyche of a lot of women. And it's probably not helped along by the verbal acrobatics of female porn stars. Women don't have suitable role models to let them know that they can abandon centuries of sexual repression and let their clitoris run its full course.

This is based on my own personal experience. I know I am a lot more comfortable with surrendering to orgasm with another person now than I was at 18. And, consequently, I have much more intense, fully vaginal orgasms than I did then. I think women have the capability of mentally short-circuiting what is a really powerful, overwhelming experience because they're a little afraid of it.

That said, it's not to say that oral/manual technique is not important but, frankly, if a guy actually knows how to find the clitoris (and cares to know where it is) he's already 95% of the way there.

Well, first of all we've got to ban the words whore & slut, like the N-word
...or at least the mindset where people call others by it. (after all it is just a word)

No guilt, No shame, enjoy the ride, feed into the pleasure.

But it's not just clitoral stimulation...if done right, it's everything put together.
The build up, working the whole body.

You can think you'll just instantly go to the clit, work it, get results and you'll be done with your job...but this is not true.
It's may be a significant portion, but it's not all of it.

And considering what the studies are saying, that it is more pervasive than just that point...that makes sense.
If you engage other parts that it reacts to, then the apparent location would be more responsive too...back & forth...action/reaction...and vice versa.
Activities on various parts make the clit more responsive, and once you get off by it...it affects various parts.

That being said, I'd like to thank Sam Kinison for introducing me to the ABC's
I've written many a novel with that technique.
Signed my name to it. Anyone want an autograph?? ;)

  17. Is this an uniquely American issue? White, uptight America? Or is it prevalent in other cultures and/or countries? I agree with your above statement mixedmedia especially as it pertains to younger women. Orgasms for women in many cases seem to be a learned response, learning how over overcome the short-circuit you speak of. Since my personal sample only includes white, uptight American women I wonder if that background is more repressive when it comes to allowing one's body to take over.

I am certainly no authority, but it is not my impression that either white people or Americans have a monopoly on the sexual repression of women. Although, I do believe in France, women have the most spectacular orgasms. :p

I would imagine the middle east is probably a little more repressed than the US. However, my woman is French and she was raised knowing her sexuality was her own and no one could stop her. It is a a day and nigh difference between the two countries.
