(Unproductive) Things You Do When You're Bored

this isn't me, but i've been this bored before. i was curious what TFP does when there's nothing to do.
I'll start: i stumbleupon babes, smoke my pipe, doodle graffiti, daydream about what if my cluttered desk was a tactical battle arena for ant-sized people.

... Actually, I go fo a bike ride if conditions (daylight, weather, time available) are favorable. Otherwise I read shit online, including here.

I'd be better off practicing music or reading a book.

 

I run my hand along my latex headrest/pillow, stroking it and occasionally giving it a squeeze, but mainly concentrating around a little hard bit, where the spinning' process had not fully taken. I can multitask, therefore I also stare at the wall and during the day, risk overload by mouth-beatboxing middle eastern percussion while whining a tune.

 

I'm just going to run with the idea that "unproductive" and "when you're bored" is followed by "while at work."

Let's see:

Masturbate (just did that earlier).

Look up new horror punk bands on YouTube, use DownloadHelper to acquire said videos so I can listen to them over and over (doing that right now).

Eat things like single serve peanut butter cups and single serve breakfast cereal bowls (have a drawer of snack foods behind me).

Post shit on TFP that nobody actually reads in the voice it is meant to be read: Cronk (from the Disney's The Emperor's New Groove)

Grind on my Captains of Crush #1.5 (167.5 lbs) hand exerciser. I can't close it 10 times yet but I'm getting there. #1 (140 lbs.) is for babies.

 

I try not to let myself be unproductive (Type A personality, yes, yes I am), but if I have a block of time that I can't do anything good with, I'll plop down for some reality TV.

 

Well, I used to go out and find ways to just mildly mess with people's heads when I was a younger man, but that takes to much energy for me these days. Mostly I just play video games and look up cool guns I would like to get some day.

 

When I'm bored, everything bores me. I'll hang out online for awhile, then I'll flip through all the channels on cable 4 or 5 times, then I'll play XBox til I get killed a couple of times, then I'll try to read but can't concentrate on the pages, then back online, then back to the tv, back online...It usually ends with me taking a nap on the couch.
Either that or I get in the car and just drive around to nowhere in particular for a couple hours, making some random stops along the way.
