What do/did you do to put food on the table?

Just as it says. What do you or did you do for a living to support yourself and or family? Ill go first.

I work at a ford dealership and I am a transmission man. I diagnose and remove and install and build automatic and manual transmissions.

 

I run a business and sell commercial printing presses made in either Germany or Japan. I've also familiarized myself with security print (ID cards, Passports, Credit Cards, Cheques, Banknotes, etc.).

 

Kill babies. Hell, I'd do anything for money. Just ask.

Nah, I'm an adult daycare provider in the waste management industry. I handle shitheads and other people's crap.

The funny part of my job is that it's kinda like being a mortician... ya know, I deal with what people leave behind.

I try to grow and raise as much of the food as possible right out in the fields behind the house.
Sometimes I play Doctor too, just to keep it interesting.

 

I make damn sure I am doing anything but what my degree in IT covered or possibly could.
oh wait......maybe it just feels that way. On the positive note, my student loans started at the $12,5000 range after the GI bill and are now in the whopping $370 range total.

 

Food on the table? Shoot an elk every year and grow a big ass garden.

Money in the bank...? Adult day care and dispute management.

I'm a creator of internet content. It does not put all that much food on the table.
I've taught elementary school and before the heart failure was a licensed clinical therapist.
Basically, I mooch.
