What's that song that always makes you smile?

Oh come on, you know you have one.
That song that makes you dance in your chair,
in your seat in the car, or smile at passersby...
    Share it with us.
I know for a fact that there are quite a few TFPers
that could use a place to find a smile on occasion.

I'll start off with a little Stevie... he always makes me smile.
Something about his voice and energy just gets me moving,
grinning, and generally having a good time.

And who doesn't love a little James Brown?
I can't find the original live version I have where he's hollerin' at you to
get up, HUH! get on up!
which never, ever fails to make me laugh, smile,
or step a little faster on the treadmill... at least until the song is over.

The following songs always cheer me up when I'm being a Grumpy Gus:

Rainbow / Dio - "Man on the Silver Mountain" (you gotta use the three-finger Dio point when you're rocking out to it by yourself)
Metallica - "Anesthesia" (Cliff Burton's absolutely righteous bass solo, I always smile when it switches from slow to fast)
Blitzkid - "Teenage Necrophilian Love" (Fun crooner with a twist: "... I think she must be dead.")
Nuke and the Living Dead - "Jack Daniels" (it's a song that screams about said booze for two minutes, women universally hate this song)
Monstabob - "They Disappear" (German horrorpunk band, the guy's voice is oddly hypnotizing, he's singing about Poltergeist)
David Bowie - "Magic Dance" (Labyrinth. Seriously, who doesn't love this song? It's a nutty song from a nutty movie.)
Operation Ivy - "Room without a Window" (They've only got one album, Energy, and it is loaded with all sorts of powerful, catchy punk)

Beverly Hoch ... I heard her sing this around 1983 and fell in love with her. Never fell out of love with her. She makes me laugh, cry, die, live again, yet behind all that, she gives me a smile as wide as the universe.

Does anyone notice a hint of Princess Diana RIP, and some of the great actresses of the silent movies?

Aw dang, dang, dang :( Euphorically, I was doing a search/stalk browse and found that she's recently finished a course of chemo. Heck. I hope she gets properly better soon.

It makes me sad that Possum Kingdom is the only Toadies song most people know.

Especially since they've got so many great songs.

Technically, i also know "I Come From The Water", but for the same reason I know "Possum Kingdom", because it was played on the radio.

Don't feel bad, the only Kenny Wayne Shepherd song anyone seems to know (if they know one at all) is "Blue On Black", and he's one bad mofo when it comes to blues guitar. His Live On tour was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.
