    Try this again.

Love everyone's music (through soundcloud)! Wish I could see the videos, though.

I hope it's ok to put this here. It's my nephew's band, Techromancer.

  14. Since I played a total of 3 notes on the D string in the whole song, I was going to compliment your excellent ear. Our recording tech would never have allowed such a clinker to get past. All of our dissonance is planned. ;)

Even though I am a tone deaf hack, I do give myself credit for intentionally not choosing the more frequently used E or A string on the bass, and for knowing what a cent is. My wife would roll her eyes at me .

Music nerding this past weekend in Vermont:

We were given roughly seven minutes per piece, so the latter two of these were cut mercilessly to allow for performing under those limits. The last of these three cuts off about two minutes into the performance, sadly, as the guy recording it started it about a minute before we actually began playing, and my phone didn't have enough space left to get the entire thing.

Shame—or blessing—since my shoulder rest popped off during some really intense part of the piece, and I think I yelled something when it happened.

I'm determined, at some point, to perform these movements—at least the latter two—in full, as I'm currently obsessed with both of them.
