I lost interest at end of season 2. Or was it 3. I'm not sure anymore. But lost interest and can't seem to bring myself to want to watch it.

The only free tv that I have seen it on is AMC. Last week it was a marathon.

We were getting TWD reruns on My20, channel 20 in Houston, which is part of Fox.

Anyone watching this still? I found the first two episodes to be on the weak side. I'm sure there will be a kick-ass war vs. Negan coming soon and they need to set up all of the players in that war, but it's just not as riveting as it once was.

The whole junkyard scene I thought was quite silly. A lot of the other stuff they've shown has been believable with
hilltop, alexandria, saviors, even the kingdom for the most part. They all have eccentric leaders but for the most part the populace is normal. I'm not sure what to think of the new group - very gothy/emo - are they in the comic books? The apocalypse happened like 2 or 3 years earlier - whats with the weird speech and names?

Anyhow - i'm really hoping the season gets really good really fast because in all honesty its starting to lose me slowly.....

Yeah the last few episodes have been more like the Snoring Dead. I haven't enjoyed it very much this season.

starting to seem like every season is based on a new person that they run across, are the comics that way?

Overall a pretty disappointing season. Things just dragged on after the premiere's death scene and the season finale was lackluster. I found myself questioning why I even watch this show anymore.

  13. Basically.

then who is next to meet?

  15. Pretty cool next round after Negan. I have only read as far as being introduced to the next one. I read the comic books by compendium, but I'm getting a bit antsy since I have no idea when Compendium 4 is coming out.

I thought the season premiere was pretty disappointing.

They have 20-30 good guys with rifles and no one shoots Negan while he's standing stationary on the balcony with no cover ? Seriously ? That's priority #1 people.

To be honest...I got out of this some time ago.
I got frustrated watching people do things that were adverse to their well-being.

Sorry, even in semi-Armageddon with zombies...I expect people to be civilized and act logically.
Which is likely why many confuse me in real life currently.

Then again, I confuse myself too...why the hell do I get panic attacks for scholastic papers?? (I do papers all the time at work, I take tests calmly...it's fairly irrational)
So yes...even if I had to deal with Zombies...and people dealing with the collapse of civilization.
I expect rational thinking and planning.

I mean...have fun...get drunk...party it up. Scream in Rage to the Universe or whatever arbitrary god did this too you. Cry and grieve about your loved ones...eaten, shot or killed otherwise.
But in the end...when you wake...start moving forward with intent. Be Nice to each other. If you have to be ruthless, try not to kill others...or if you "have to" kill others, keep it minimal.
Oh yeah...and find a place you can stay...and STAY. (if the hordes attack, rebuild...shit happens)

Is this too much to ask for?

Yeah. Make sure you don't watch Fear the Walking Dead. It's even worse. People are always leaving the main group voluntarily for stupid, petty reasons. Then surprise, surprise, those people get into trouble. I wish they would end both series.

Is it like that in the books? Or is the production team having meetings about ways to make the drama prolong itself needlessly? So many chances to take out that bugger.
