That reminds me of my observation that in the apps list on my phone youtube music shows up as YT music (read: whitey music). And I listen to it. So that checks out.

That list confirmed some things I've long been aware of:
I rarely listen to pop music.
There are many huge gaps in my music listening history.
If I don't like a song I tune it out rather than give it a chance. Eventually recognizing (admitting?) that a song is well crafted isn't the same as liking it (for example Everybody Wants To Rule The World).

To me, how well it's crafted is irrelevant. To be polite, if I cannot make an emotional connection, I dismiss it. To be more crude, if the song is like a bad laxative (it does not move me) you could list the hundreds of accolades the artist(s) have accrued, and I still wouldn't give a damn.

I actually find musical discussions hilariously polarizing. I'd be wealthy if I had a dime every time someone told me that my taste in music sucks.

On the flip side, it's amusing to see other people go into hysterics when I tell them I don't like [Band X]:

    Warning: I'm about to redefine
    pointless.

I've seen some on-line articles regarding how Target, & similar retailers, are having problems with a continuous drop in customers at their retail stores.

About two weeks back my wife & I went to Target with stack (literally) of Target gift cards; we left without buying a single thing. The main reason being we're well-stocked on the items we usually buy there, namely socks & undies. The other reason is they had only one type of flea collar for cats, the $60.00 Soresto(?). They had numerous ones for dogs.

I told my wife in order to use the gift cards locally we might need to go grocery shopping at one of the Super(?) Target stores. The other option is on-line.

    You need a dog.
A large energetic dog you could take on long walks, play with outdoors, take with you on car rides, etc, etc.
A dog that would love you unconditionally.

In a pinch miniature dachshunds are cool little dogs because they don't know their small dogs, & don't act like small dogs.

Just think how much a dog, esp a large dog, would totally piss off
    your wife.

Unless that would backfire into problems best avoided :(.
