Chicago weatherman loses it on camera

Chicago weather reporter, Jerry Taft, found himself laughing uncontrollably while attempting to do the weather report the other night. One of the other newscasters, Mark Giangreco, apparently did something off-camera to provoke him. Check it out, I think it's pretty funny

It's not the first time this has happened either. Here's a clip from about a year ago:

I didn't think it was all that funny. He chuckled here and there but he was able to finish his segment.

What I find unacceptible is that he did it twice. Maybe he needs to find another profession if he can't maintain professional decorem while on live tv. I'm pretty certain that broadcast school doesn't teach you to laugh on live tv. If you look closely, he even apologized for what he was doing which proves he knows he was improfessional.

It happens sometimes. Certainly nothing to get fired over unless it's a routine thing.

I've seen several people do this. Generally it's (haha) laughed off unless it was during an inappropriate story. Saw one instance where the anchors got a gigglefit during a story about the rape of a young girl. The laughter was about the previous story, which was very funny. Poor judgment on the part of the producer who stacked the show, first off, but they still got in hot water for it.

No, nothing to get fired over at all. In fact, Jerry Taft and Mark Giangreco are a big draw for ABC's local news. They're fun, but they also do their jobs well.

I don't mind the lack of professionalism, this is why, when I choose to take my head out of the sand, I get my news from comedians and naked people.
