This Picture is Unrelated + Oddly-Specific Signs

			Somewhat in-line with a previous venture: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/found-n...photobomb.html

I've happened upon another site that takes the idea above and makes it even more weird, and obtuse: Picture Is Unrelated (basically the same premise as a photobomb, but add more strange oddities, animals, a sprinkle of retro-futurism, and nudity, and it evloves into a totally-unrelated-to-anything-preceding-it-sort-of-picture.) Another kind of content-sharing thread, for any sort of photo that makes you ponder, "what was the aim here?" .. Help proliferate, please. ![]() caption attached: Watch out for the barrels grandma! ![]() caption attached: We Can Rebuild Santa Anna. Actually, it is part of the Cheezburger Network. The guy who runs these sites freely admits that he takes the best of 4chan and spreads it to the masses. A good article: King of Cheez: The Internet’s Meme Maestro Turns Junk Into Gold | Wired Magazine

What are you trying to do? A play on words? I thought there was a rule on TFP about messing with my head ...

4chan does not have anything good about it ... so in the real world, when we deal with positives and negatives, 4chan deals with scales of negatives. So the correct verbosity would be "the worst of 4chan" ... P.S. Awesome link BTW |

Even though I originally posted the link, this is only the second time I've visited the site, and this time for five whole minutes, and I've finally realized it: this site is actually quite humorous (maybe in smaller doses, but I always take my doses as such).

Anyway, and neeedless to say, here is content (which, ironically, I still have yet to find on the actual website from which it says it came from). ![]()

Would anybody mind at all if I also used this now-revived topic to place in another cheezburger site of influence: Oddly Specific Street Signs & Consumer Labels

I'd rather not start another thread, and these two memes (I might never get the hang of this word) seem to go along nicely... any objections? (silence is good enough for me) So I now entwine the two (and might ask to change the thread title later)... ![]()

I know I'm probably talking to myself here, but does attributing documentation, sources, and more importantly, actual context, to these images detract from their "random", three-lettered appeal? It is like I'm giving them a reason as to why this event or happenstance came about, when really, it's the mystery and intrigue which makes them all the more appealing. I'd be real interested in what you (anyone) think.
