My son is in Iraq. He said you wouldn't believe the difference the Saddam verdict has made for the way they (American troops) have to do their jobs. And none of these differences are for the better. When he hangs, it will likely get worse.

Killing Saddam will not solve the issues... There's a shit-ton of deep, deep-seeded hate in that country right now.

Not only will killing him not help, letting him live won't either. We will be lucky to see any order restored to that country in a long time.
