it will be my first time. i'm going with my girlfriend and another couple. they have all been before, but i haven't. we're staying at the mgm grand....soooo, what i'm looking for is something really cool that most people don't know about to do or see and anything else ya'll may have to say about vegas! where's the free stuff? the best gambling? the best food? the best nudie bar? everything!!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen Penn and Teller, and blue man group, both were awesome.

Have to agree on both. (although I saw Blue Man Group in Chicago, but it should be just as good there) Penn and Teller are really cool, they hang out after the show for pics with them. There's a little Mexican restaurant inside of New York New York that's pretty good. That's a hotel you'll want to visit anyway, pretty cool setup plus they have a roller coaster.

Cheap gambling 2AM at Binions Horseshoe on Old Downtown Fremont Street. It's away from the strip, but you can't beat learning how to play craps for $.25 and not worrying you're blowing your whole enchilada.

If you want to get away from the strip, I suggest going to Red Rocks, you can see wild burros in the canyons.

The coaster at NYNY (the Manhattan Express) is not that great, IMO. Very rough and high on the "headbanging" scale. The best coaster in town is Speed: The Ride at the Sahara. Much smoother, and it gives you 2 rides for one price (at least it did last time I was there).

If you like beer, hit up the Brew Pub at The Monte Carlo. They microbrew their own beer, plus the menu at the pub it really good, and not too pricey. Even when we don't stay at that hotel (it's our favorite) we always eat at least once at that place. Also if you gamble there, you can get their microbrews for free while playing.

Add another vote for Blue Man Group. Great show and suitable for all ages.

When are you going? I'm hitting up Sin City at the end of May.

Go see Cirque du Soleil. I've seen Zumanity and "O"; both are fantastic shows and I've heard only good things about the others.

HEY COASTER, THANKS FOR THE INFO ON THE BREW!!!! I LOVE ME SOME RANDOM BREWS YOU CAN'T GET ANYWHERE! i'm heading out there in two weeks for spring break from school.

gal, we were thinking of zumanity for sure...the girls want to see mamma mia...and as gay as this is going to sound, i want to get see a neil diamond impersonator!

cyn...thanks for the craps tips...i have no idea how to play, but would love to learn. that sounds like a great place to start!
