my 2c worth (though I lack most artisitic skills) you could probably put a black edge around the white bits to make it fit better on a white background, or have an alternative image based on the forum style people have chosen.

I took the two person one and did a couple of updates. I'm not a big fan of the border option - it makes it look too busy, but this could be easily solved with a change of colour - replacing white with something else more acceptable...maybe not green though

edit - though I'm not sure it is going to matter - none of the schemes have white as the background to the left column, so how these will look will mostly not matter as much when they are under the user's account info.
