If TFP were a TV show...

what would it be like? i feel like for the first half of programming it would be a bunch of dudes hanging out and looking through unclephil's piles of erotica while the ladies talk about natural remedies for period cramps. the next half of programming would be like a scene out of that 70s show where everyone is in a circle talking about philosophy/deep issues while performing their hobby (cooking, brewing tea, maintaining weapons, assembling and engine block, etc...) while Plan9 and TheJazz are in a perpetual paintball duel where if some people in the circle get hit hit in the eye, c'est la vie. they shouldn't have made themselves such available targets.

what would your version of the TFP show be like?

Perhaps HBO's Rome with comedic side. Hmm, I could see TFP as a stadium-style Roman Senate building.

We'd all be making eloquent (or not so eloquent) speeches in togas and the drinking and orgy would follow. Last edited by Plan9; 04-14-2011 at 08:42 PM.. |

Are you kidding? Network TV would have cancelled us after 3 episodes. The pictures of Fly's ass alone would have generated millions of dollars in fines.

We'd need an entire network to keep up with all of the wacky antics.

I would find it fascinating if it was done in silent film format... accompanied by Martian on the guitar and aberkok tickling some ivories.

Could you imagine TFP doing a show with a similar format as Hee Haw?

It would be very, very, very much not like The Wire.
