You can get a much safer and more practical psychedelic effect with $10 and a dealer.
Licking toads might end up giving you something completely placebic (word?) or competely poisonous. I'm sure people have done it, but I'm wouldnt start licking an amphibian to get high

reminds me of a family guy episode...
I wouldn't know if there even are species out there that actually produce this effect... but if they're brightly colored, stay the fuck away from em. If you want to trip go eat some mushrooms.

certain toads (including natterjack toads) produce lysergic acid, or something very similar, as a defense mechanism. However if you're desparate enough to be licking toads for a high, you clearly haven't explored the other options for getting fucked up any where near close enough

I think cane toads in austrailia make you trip, and the toads are a hugely invasive species tehre so you can find them all over the place

Toads, my last choice for inebreation.
Never, ever, ever, even in my most drug induced hazes have I comtemplated licking a toad. I have consumed several halluciogenic substances in my time but never needed to party that bad!

There is a chemical known as Bufotenine found in the venom glands of the Bufo Alvarius toad that is in the tryptamine family. 5-hydroxy-tryptamine. It has effects similar to that of 5-methoxy-dimethyltryptamine and N,N- dimethyltryptamine. The first of those two chemicals can be legally bought online, and would be a much more reliable high than trying to catch a toad, squeeze its glands onto a glass sheet, letting the liquid dry, and smoking the powder.

I think he misspelled it. I think he's talking about licking toes. Still, you gotta make sure they're clean, but I doubt you'll see much, unless she's crazy about having her toes licked. Some women really dig that, having their toes licked. But toads? I don't see why toads would want to be licked. Unless they're really weird toads, in which case its best to avoid them altogether. I don't trust a toad that wants to be licked.
