Old members, masquerading under new names.

Hmmmm.... Now that I thought of it, after I re-registered of course, I could have changed my username and slunk around semi-anonymously. If someone checked my email, and remembered who it belonged to I'd be busted, but hey, what are the odds of that? I wouldn't really be "busted" in a bad way. As far as I'm aware there is no rule prohibiting something like that, how could there be?

Anyway, I got to wondering if anyone is doing that? Could one of our old and dear friends be re-inventing themselves under a new handle? What an interesting idea that is. Would we recognize them? Could they hide for long? More importantly, would I treat them differently if I knew who they "really" were?
That'll burn your noodle, won't it?

I hope there are a couple of people that don't change, because

I am content to stay with what I have. And I hope all of the regulars can do the same. We have come to know each other by our "given" TFP names and it is a comfort zone and a safe place.

I didn't even think of changing mine. I was more concerned that someone would "get " it before I did.

*EDIT* It sure feels good to be home!

I used to be Yomomma, but I got sick of the name and I was fairly new anyway. I'm not really hiding, except for the fact that acted like a bit of an asshat before.

Yup. After a while, you get used to the way someone tends to respond and know who it is based on those words. I considered shortening my nick to 'spec' because that's what I go by in chat, but I decided to stick with spectre since that's what most on the boards know me as.

I was lagarto in the last version. But I didn't change to hide, in fact I've said 3 times in posts and once in my journal that I've changed, and even put it in my sig

I've used frenik for longer than I've used lagarto, I don't really like lagarto and there's some history behind frenik. So if you knew me as lagarto, rewire your brain to know me as Frenik.
