Though, to be honest, I didn't think Wakefield had a post-season game like that in him...

But, as I had mentioned in another thread, it was our bats that really f'ed up the Yanks.

I think a Cubs-RedSox World Series, although I'm all for it, would mean the end of the world. Do you think God, in His/Her infinite wisdom would let either of these lovable loser teams win? I think not! Picture it, bottom of the 9th, Cubs up by one, Sammy perched under the final out, and suddenly, a meteor the size of Manhattan blasts into the planet right on top of Sammy. You see my point?
