follower of the child's crusade?

Does anyone speak French?

Does anyone know what this means??

I like this song, but I have no clue what it is actually saying... to simpify my question, if I knew a girl called Angela, who could speak French, would it be a good idea to send her this song?

Supa Saian Crew - Angela

[Sir Samuel]

[Leeroy]
Illico j'mets l'turbo, j'adore quand tu m'dis :

Refrain :
Angela, mwen ké fend' tchou aw
Pendan papaw pa la, Angela

[Vicelow]
Trop " chichi ", trop " hein hein ",
Angela me " tchip ", a peur du " hin hin "

Refrain :
Angela, mwen ké fend' tchou aw
Pendan papaw pa la, Angela

that's not french, it's french spoken and written down by somebody with a BAD and inarticulate manner of speech.

That said...

[Sir Samuel]

--> We can't know who loved "gen mwen"

second line: blablabla or excited
third line: no idea
4th: after the comma: until tomorrow (jusqu'à demain)
last line: We are sure to be there tomorrow morning (Nous sommes certain ... là demain matin)

[Leeroy]
Illico j'mets l'turbo, j'adore quand tu m'dis :

This is alot better already

Illico, I go into overdrive (prolly something less literal here ), I love it when you say to me:
Leeroy, you are the most beautiful, you're the one I prefer, the one that makes me climb into the curtains, no matter what the time.
No matter in what studio, everybody knows you've got all the 'ses-po'/moves down, so you're too popular.
They all know that with you, they'll experience alot of passion/heat.
If ever you feel alone, don't hesitate and dial my number.
You'll see that passion will appear once more.

Refrain :
Angela, mwen ké fend' tchou aw
Pendan papaw pa la, Angela

1st line:
2nd line: while daddy isn't home, Angela

[Vicelow]
Trop " chichi ", trop " hein hein ",
Angela me " tchip ", a peur du " hin hin "

Too much "chichi" and too much "hein hein"
Angela, my "tchip" is afraid of the 'hin hin' (not really helping, is it )
Constrained, I am a constraint, it's by moral obligation
that she finds herself in front of a black man with sunglasses, 'Vicelow',
zouk-man, soukous-man, dishonest
If I don't have her, I have her cousin,
She's gained weight, but I'll put a stop to that!

it's not exactly french in that song, sorry somehow it sounds like somebody from Zaïre speaking French with a horrible accent. To me at least

Someone told me it was creole or something like that. I guess just like American or British rap uses a lot of slang, French rappers probably use a lot of French slang as well.

Sounds about as romantic as American rap...

Quote:
Angela, mwen ké fend' tchou aw
I'll bet the second and third words are really "au moins que", or "at least". The rest of the line is unintelligible.

ALSO like American rap!!

Sounds Creole or a pidgin sort of French from Africa.

Sorry dude, I'm not touching that. You're on your own.

It makes my french teacher cry. And she passed about 7 years ago now, rest her soul.

I'll second (third? fourth?) the notion that it doesn't appear to be Quebecois or Parisian French. It's possibly Creole, but I neither speak nor understand Creole, so I'm afraid I can't be of any help. Hell, even Google could only translate two of the words in the line I fed it (the words being Pa and Angela).

My French is only "conversational", so it's possible that someone widely fluent may recognize a little more (I'll ask ophelia783 about it tonight after class). Honestly, if that's correctly copied down, I'll admit I've never even SEEN some (most) of those words, and I've been in French for 5-6 years, go to Montreal regularly, and visited France a few years back!

What's this about not-so-funny, had me laughing for a few minutes!

Anyway, as others have already said, that is most certainly not French in the standard sense. It could be Creole or something like French ebonics, but it's next to impossible to read and translate. Unless you're lucky enough to find some hip Cajun.

I think that it's either Creole or Haitian French.

The only lines I recognize are the following:

[Leeroy]
Illico j'mets l'turbo, j'adore quand tu m'dis : I love it when you tell me
"Leeroy, c'est toi l'plus beau, t'es celui qu'j'préfère, Leeroy, you're the most handsome, the one that I prefer
The one that makes me climb the curtains, at no matter what hour
et Dans n'importe quel studio, tout l'monde sait qu'tu connais And in no matter what apartment/studio, the whole world knows that you know
Toutes le ses-po, donc on t'aime trop So we love you too much
On sait tous qu'avec toi, on passera des moments très chaud" We know everything when we're with you, we'll spend some very hot moments
A chaque fois qu'tu t'sens seule, n'hésite pas, compose mon numéro At every time you feel alone, don't hesitate, call me
You yourself know that one more time, it'll be very hot

Refrain :
Angela, mwen ké fend' tchou aw
Pendan papaw pa la, Angela

[Vicelow]
Trop " chichi ", trop " hein hein ",
Angela me " tchip ", a peur du " hin hin "
Contraint je suis une contrainte, c'est par contrat moral Constrained, I'm a constraint, it's by moral obligation
Qu'elle se retrouve contre un noir à lunettes " Vicelow "That she'd find herself against a black at glasses
Si j'ai pas elle, j'ai sa cousine, elle est coup-ci, coup-ça, If I don't have her, I'll have her cousin, she's okay
She's gotten bigger but I'd still tap that! (seriously)

Refrain :
Angela, mwen ké fend' tchou aw
Pendan papaw pa la, Angela

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend sending it if you're trying to be romantic, since it sounds like a sexual rap song
