Ever screwed up and thought: Edit->Undo ?
 

Inspired by Prince's poll; "Ever said lol out loud"?

Have you ever screwed up something in real life, and immediately thought "Edit-Undo" before you realised what you were thinking?
Although I pleaded not-guilty to the former poll, I have to admit having sucumbed to this on more than one occasion!

I screamed that at a movie once (on TV, not at the theatre...) :lol:

I've thought "damnit, I should have saved".

Which is pretty close. =)

I have thought that on many occasion!

But that is probably linked to the general idea of being able to turn back the clock and do things differently. (which is not really linked to computers).

But I've even caught myself thinking: "I wish I could save now, because I'm not sure if what I'm about to do is the right thing".
I play games way too much

When I was a kid I used to use I could fast foward when knew I was going to be in trouble so I wouldn't have to deal with that feeling in my gut that told me I was in deepshit. Wow. Run on anyone?

Rarely, but I usually think long and hard before I say something. If an e-mail is at all controversial, I'll edit it several times before sending it just to be sure.

All the time, since I have a tendency to fuck things up. Like Yakk said, I've thought of "should have quicksaved" or something... oh morrowind, how you have warped me.

No, but while looking through class notes, I find myself thinking, "ctrl + f would make this a hell of a lot easier."

I've never thought 'Edit | Undo' in real life.. thats ridiculous! I always use CTRL-Z ;)

Stupid paper books don't have a search function... the index only rarely suffices.
oh, and the "I'll edit it later" mentality doesn't work with pen and paper either, you've got to re-write the whole damn thing...

That's when I decided to cut back on my photoshopping :)

Once in a while I just say quietly to my self "Ctrl + z" and go on my way after I mess something up.

Play "Prince of Persia, Sands of Time".

The game is worth it just for the punchline near the end. And the game itself is all about ctrl-z. =)

A friend of mine was wishing he could record his entire life, and have it turned into a script. Basically, so he could search it and find information. =)

when my shitty (apex) dvd player freezes up(that is everyday) i always think ctrl-alt-del.

It's happened a lot, especially after using Adobe Photoshop for an extended period of time.

I wish I could edit or undo things I messed up on in real life.

CTRL+Z, baby, the savior of my ass on many occasions. No, what I do sometimes is I find myself wishing I had a mute button.

I'm more of a Ctrl-Z kind of guy.. How I wish that it would work in real lfe as well.. hmmm..
