If I didn't know any better, it looks like it was a holding pattern out there in the Atlantic. Kind of like it jumped the gun and covered too much sea too fast and had to circle round a bit to keep to schedule.

It appears Ivan is attempting to reform out in the gulf as well....

i read this morning the when Jeanne hits Florida, it will be the first time since 1886 that a state has been hit 4 times in one season. that year Texas had the honor. i do feel for them. one after another has got to get tiring and expensive. hopefully, all will be safe.
