I just wanted to take a minute (and hope everyone else does the same) to give a big thanks to Halx for continuing to run the TFP despite some of the recent setbacks. I lurked these forums for about a month before I decided to join a few weeks ago, and I can honestly say that there aren't many forums out there capable of as wide a range of discussions as this one.

Regardless of the fact that a lot of people came here for the porn (myself included) before the "change", there really are a lot of other things to do on this site. You don't see that very often on the Internet, for whatever reason.

So, yeah... Thanks, Halx.

I don't think the porn boards should be put back up the way they were, before, if that's what you're implying. I'm also not a "suck-up". I simply know what kind of work goes into administrating a website/forum the size of the TFP. It takes a lot more time and money than most of the people posting here probably realize.

Ok now, back to the original topic. Hal spends alot of time, and hard earned money to keep this place up and running first and foremost. Second he insures that it stays on it's mission. This isn't simply a place to chat...it's a place to learn and evolve as a species. He has great admins and mods to help him with this. I consider TFP to be one of the best places on the net. In fact I hardly go anywhere else on the net. The relationships that have spawned because of this website are unique and wonderful. People help each other learn and help each other with problems. Just think this is the first step towards what the tfp could and will be. So once again thanks a million Hal keep up the good work. (the same goes out to all the admins and mods and great memebers also!!)

It's the money more than the time that impresses me. Most people wouldn't be so willing to sink as much money as Halx has into this site.
