TFP World Tour!!!! .. part 1
 

Coming soon to your city, Hal and BuDDaH of TFP fame!

The four-stop part 1 of the world tour will take the pair across the chest of the USA. This tour is expected to kick off in the middle of December, sometime. More details to come.

Departing from Los Angeles, we will travel northeast through Las Vegas, stopping in Salt Lake City, Utah.
From there, we will head a touch southeast and stop in Denver, Colorado.
After a brief stay in Denver, we will take a long stride across the heartland and rest in Chicago, Illinois.
From Chicago, we will reach our destination in New York City, where we will reside until the next part of our world tour kicks off... whenever.

If you live in or near any of these cities and would like to catch the TFP World Tour in action (Ya know.. catch dinner with the boys... give us a place to sleep?) please let us know! Thank you!

Not sure if I can give you a place to sleep unfortunately. You know, depending on when you arrive I may still be at home and I get this strange feeling my parents wouldn't be too keen on two people I know over the internet staying in their home ;) But, if I'm back in school by then perhaps something can be done.

Anyway, let us know when you know more precise date(s) for these places, would be great to get together with you guys.

Umm, I don't see Calgary on that list, but if it ever did happen, expect some hossptality, love to see you, but I'm afraid you'd have to be tested for mad cow disease first, just as a precaution.

Well, Chicago is the closest place to me here in Green Bay WI, but it's still a bit of a trip. If you are having difficulty finding a place to stay down there, I would be more than happy to offer my living room to you. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a detour (4-5 hours via vehicle)

Either way, once we are a bit more sure on the dates, I'd love to come down and meet you guys in person :thumbsup:

Toledo is between Chicago and New York, well not literally. Could catch dinner/lunch/drink here if you'd like? I'd offer you a place to sleep, but my wife probably wouldn't like that.

Just keep me posted as to when you're gonna be in Denver. I can work on a place to stay if you need it.

Durham sounds like a good stopping point*grin* A bit of a distance from me, but the closest I have heard thus far! (maybe working on the second world tour? *grin*)

Hmmm... Only four stops? I'd rather think we are going which ever way brings us from California to N.Y. straightest, so if you are along the way, we'll stop by or you can give us info along the way so we can meet up for a couple of hours.

You could always avoid the terrible roads in Pennsylvania, and check out Lake Ontario, Via Rochester....I'll even put you guys up. Short drive the next day to NYC...4-6 hrs....depending on who is driving.

There will be a small dinner/get together while they are here. Check the Tilted West section for updates.

Hey guys - as luck would have it, I have places in Chicago and in Columbus, OH which looks like your route. Give me as much heads up as you can as to when you think you will be coming through and I am sure we can work something out if you need it. I travel quite a bit for work, but with enough notice I can usually schedule my trips as needed. I believe you have my email...

Depending on when you'll be in Chicago, I could definitly sit down for dinner or a drink or something. My roommates aren't ok with people I've only interacted with on the internet staying here, so sadly I can't offer up my place.

I'd find it quite interesting to actually meet some tfpers in real life...

Sorry I can't offer you a place to stay, but I don't think that I'll be able to attend either. I'm really hoping that I'll be able to.

If you decide to take the ol' Route 66 I would be right on the way in OKC! And I'm sure my very large and comfy couch would make a perfect place for you two to spoon. ;)

If you make it through Chicago, you can count me in for whatever. I can get a day off on any weekday with no trouble. I will await the details.

ya so, i live at least part time in galesburg illinois, abot 3 hours from chicago, on i74 b/w peoria and the quad cities. i don't see any date yet, but i'll be back in the good ol usa by the 28th and have room for lots. (we rent a house near knox college and can easily sleep a couple extra peeps, we always do.)

if you're around new years (which it doesnt seem but..) we'll be having a double kegger...just a thought.
