its really to bad that we, supposedly the smartest of earths inhabitants, can't clean up our own messes. even my nephew's pet gerbal knows not to shit where it sleeps.
everything nowadays is to politically minded to make a move in the right direction. we refuse to impliment change in our own lives, at the expense of the rest of the world, and future generations. the one issue that the entire world should be concerned about, is the one issue nobody's willing to discuss with one another. we've gotten good at identifying the problems, but rather lax in the department of acting upon them.. so sadly.. i don't see this study doing any good. i was under the impression that it was already common knowledge that we as a species have had a drastic and irreversable effect on the planet. i hope they gathered more information as to how this has happend, and not just that it has. |

I have to applaude the bbc for doing by far the best job in covering environmental issues in the media. I hope their efforts to raise awarness are not in vein. This is tremendously important to every living being on the planet. I pray to God that our posterity doesn't have to deal with our awful mistakes and apathy.

Believe it or not......this topic is by far the largest worry on my mind, day to day.
Wars end, compassion for others can be learned, political errors will be corrected in the long run. By there has to actually BE a long run.......
